Wrestler Becky Lynch herself who made his appearance in the hottest event of the summer, SummerSlam. Leaving one of the most controversial scenes in all the stories of wrestling. When champion Bianca Belair with a half-year reign beating the best female fighters, she fell in 27 seconds.
A story that is lengthening over time and that seems to be one of the hottest rivalries within the monthly Extreme Rules event. Where the disappearance again of Sasha Banks catapulted Becky’s entry by being low at the last minute apparently by Covid-19 despite not being confirmed.
With the victory of the title and the arrival of Becky to the blue brand it was confirmed that she had an important starting defense against the new challenger and with a better position in the division of the red brand. During an interview with talkSPORT’s Alex McCarthy, Becky Lynch confirmed rumors that she was originally scheduled for a match at WrestleMania.
Lynch told McCarthy:
that she was ready to go on the show and there was talk that she would face Bayley. If you recall, there were rumors throughout the weekend that Lynch would be facing Bayley on the show.
A fact that had to be canceled due to Bayley’s unfortunate injury after spending more than a year and a half full time leading the women’s division behind his back. With the injury, Lynch’s plans were canceled and she had to be used at SummerSlam.
Bayley did a promo segment and got physical with Nikki and Brie Bella. Apparently, that segment was originally going to be Bayley and Lynch. Lynch also confirmed that she was originally scheduled to return in October, but WWE called her SummerSlam week so she could win the SmackDown women’s title from Bianca Belair.
Becky Lynch just told me she was originally good to go for WrestleMania and it was discussed she’d face Bayley.
That didn’t happen (obviously) and then she was meant to return in October before WWE called her the week of SummerSlam.
Pretty upset didn’t get Lynch v Bayley 💔

The original plans were as follows; Sasha Banks was supposed to face Belair on that show, but she was not cleared to fight and then Lynch was her surprise replacement.
