“It was so fast, I really didn’t have time to process it. The only thought I remember having is when the fan was on top of me and already the security was keeping him away, but he had like a handful of my hair and he was just trying to get it out of the way.”
“My instinct was to grab the fan’s head and try to control him. I don’t have any jiu-jitsu training, so what I did was completely instinctive. But yeah, my gut told me that as soon as I felt the fan on me, he should control his head as best he could.”
“I was thankful that security was there. He was thankful the fan wasn’t armed. That could have gone very wrong. And after a while I felt bad for him.”
“When I saw on social networks what his situation was and that they had possibly taken some money from him and his mental capacity was not the best, I felt bad. I felt bad, because there was no one in his life who could help him. It was an unfortunate situation that I think was handled in the best way possible.”
