Austin Theory responds to Randy Orton’s criticism of NXT fighters | Superfights

Randy Orton recently stated that some former NXT talents he has worked with have not been properly trained and they don’t know what they’re doing inside the ring. The Viper considers that this could be the difference between him and many fighters in terms of the durability of their careers, since at some point he had also indicated that the current Superstars do not measure their risks when working in a ring.

â–º The relationship between Randy Orton and Austin Theory is good

WWE Raw superstar Austin Theory was in NXT until a few months ago and differs a bit from what Orton said, since considers that it was there where he prepared himself to be able to make the great leap towards the main cast with relatively little time in the development mark.

In a recent interview with wrestling inc., Theory gave his opinion on the matter and believes Orton is entitled to his. Although they differ, the former EVOLVE highlighted that both have a good relationship.

“Did you know? It’s always a different process wherever you go. But it’s also definitely a different learning path. Evolve had its reasons to prepare me for NXT, NXT had its reasons to prepare me for Raw. But honestly, I think every company, every category has their own way of doing things, and I think you just have to jump in and see if you sink or swim.”

“So, Randy Orton is someone who has a great legacy here, he is highly respected. He knows what he’s doing, he knows what he’s talking about.. Personally, I don’t think it’s for everyone. There are reasons for him to say that, and he is entitled to his word. Personally I have a great relationship with Randy. It is someone who, if you want advice, or if you want me to see something, will look at it, give you good advice, not sugarcoat it. To me, it’s one of those things you hear about, but you have to know where it’s coming from.”
