-How did you enter the NBA Academy Latin America?
“I entered because I was at CNAR training with the Conade Academy and the NBA Academy was right there. The coaches saw me, one day they invited me to a test and when I started training they liked it. They first invited me to a tournament so that I could get to know the Academy, see what the experience of being there is like, and then they sent me a formal invitation and I accepted one ”.
-How would you define your style of play?
“I’m like a ‘combo guard’, which can be like a dribbler or forward, plus a forward, a shooter. My game is a lot of three-point shooting, defending, bringing energy and helping my teammates, also shooting from medium distance ”.
-You were invited to the NBA Academy Winter Tour tournament in December of last year, how did it go?
“They were very good games, of a very good level. Unfortunately I couldn’t play due to injury but I learned a lot from the trip (USA) and it was a very good experience. I was supporting my colleagues from the bench ”.
-How did your taste for basketball come about?
“I started basketball for my parents, they both played. Basketball has always been present in my life. First it was something I did for fun, it was a hobby. Later, I started to get more love from him and that was when I trained harder and took it more seriously because from here a very good opportunity for my life could come out ”.
-What do you think of Juan Toscano’s season with the Golden State Warriors, do you think they can reach the finals?
“The truth is that I am very happy. I watch his games, I really like how he plays, his attitude, he is always supporting and always pushing him because sometimes he was in the G-League and then the NBA, but he always had a very clear objective and he fought until he got there. I am very happy for him because he is achieving it and he is playing very well ”.
