WWE fires Karrion Kross

WWE has returned to perform a new wave of departures alluding to budget cuts that have affected many fighters. But one of the most famous exits would have been that of the Raw fighter, Karrion kross. According to journalist Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, Kross is on the list of departures.

Karrion Kross has been fired from WWE. It is the first confirmed departure from the main roster tonight, ”confirmed Johnson. The also fighter and wife of Kross, Scarlett Bordeaux, has also been fired as confirmed on her official Twitter account.

Karrion Kross and Scarlett Bordeaux arrived at WWE in February 2020. With a mysterious character and accompanied by his wife, Kross debuted on NXT on a weekly show on April 8, with his debut in the ring on May 6 in fast squash and with his first major victory over Tommaso Ciampa at NXT TakeOver.

Kross clinched the NXT championship by beating Keith Lee at NXT TakeOver XXX but he had to resign after suffering an injury in August 2020. On his return in April this year he managed to win over Finn Bálor to capture the belt and then lose it to Samoa Joe at NXT TakeOver 36 after intense rivalry and several starting defenses.

Upon losing the championship he was promoted to the main roster con strong criticism from the beginning for the changes that his character had undergone and the combats that it carried out. Despite WWE’s changes, the company has finally fired him.
