Smackdown: Lesnar returns; Vince says nothing.

Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar in a last man standing match has been scheduled for WWE SummerSlam after Lesnar returned and confronted Reigns on tonight’s SmackDown.

Reigns successfully defended the WWE Universal Undisputed Title against Riddle. After the match, Reigns was asking the crowd to acknowledge him. Reigns and The Usos were preparing to leave when Lesnar’s music played. He made it to the ring and held out his hand to Reigns, who wasn’t sure what to do. He eventually went to shake Lesnar’s hand, but Lesnar immediately dropped him with an F5. The Usos tried to intervene, but were also shot down with F5.

After SmackDown ended, WWE confirmed that Lesnar and Reigns would meet at SummerSlam, which will take place at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee on July 30.

Vince shows up, but doesn’t say anything.

Vince McMahon appeared briefly at the start of tonight’s SmackDown and did not comment on the investigation by the WWE Board of Directors regarding a hush money deal.

At the start of tonight’s show, McMahon appeared in front of the crowd and said that he was there to remind the crowd of the four words that open every WWE broadcast: then, now, forever, together.

He then welcomed everyone to SmackDown and left.

Three fighters go to MITB

Drew McIntyre and Sheamus were added to the match by Adam Pearce in a segment on tonight’s SmackDown.
Immediately after, Raquel Rodríguez defeated Shayna Baszler to qualify for the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match.
