Roman Reigns will defend the Universal Championship against Seth Rollins at WWE Royal Rumble 2022

After a whole weekend waiting for the official announcement, Seth Rollins appeared tonight on RAW to confirm the showdown against his former partner from The Shield in the next PPV. Last Friday we saw Adam Pearce informing Roman Reigns that had found a new rival for the Universal Championship. Fans were shocked when “The Vision” appeared by surprise in the dressing room of “The Big Dog”, thus anticipating this title match.

WWE Royal Rumble 2022 will take place on Saturday, January 29 from The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis, Missouri. Fans will be able to witness this event live within the venue, or through WWE Network (Peacock in the United States) and pay-per-view. Here is the updated billboard for the show to date.
