Fans could sabotage Raw with AEW chants

Next week, WWE will perform a great special on Raw to celebrate 25 years of the creation of D-Generation X, one of the most remembered groups in the company’s history, thanks to the hilarious and iconic moments they brought to fans.

And although it will be a great night for the fans, it will also really be an opportunity for some to annoy and make fun of WWE. And it is that Dave Meltzer reported in the most recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Radiothat the company expects there to be chants related to AEW, so “they are already prepared” to deal with these.

► AEW chants could invade Raw

And why AEW chants? Well, because Billy Gunn will not be present at the meeting., being under contract with AEW. And, in fact, he is involved in one of the most important stories of the brand, alongside the new AEW World Tag Team Champions, Max Caster and Anthony Bowens (The Acclaimed).

Both fighters refer to Billy as “Daddy Ass” and even they took his phrase which has become very popular: “Give me a snip, Daddy Ass (Papa Butt)!” On the next AEW Dynamite, even National Snip Day will be implemented and Billy will be involved in this segmentWell, this whole story and the aforementioned phrase have become impressively popular within the world of professional wrestling.

Meltzer did not reveal what WWE plans to do, but fans on social media believe they will edit the ambient sound live from the production truck. That’s the way it is, the fans will see Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Road Dogg Jesse James and X-Pac Sean Waltman this October 10 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Recall that during DX’s induction into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2019, Triple H made fun of Billy and AEW telling him that Vince McMahon was going to buy that insignificant company just so he could fire him againwhich caused laughter and laughter from everyone, including Gunn:

“We all know what is happening. It was fun, and everyone reacted. It’s not a secret. They were all on plan: ‘Now working for AEW, what are you doing in the WWE Hall of Fame?’ It is not about being part of WWE, but about being recognized as part of wrestling, as part of one of the best things that has ever happened to wrestling.

“So it was funny. It was not intended at any time to hurt anyone’s feelings, neither AEW nor WWE. But you can’t act like nothing was said, either, right?
