Damian Priest to defend the United States Championship against Sheamus at WWE Extreme Rules

During broadcasts of Monday Night RAW via USA Network, it has been announced that Damian Priest will defend the United States Championship against Sheamus at Extreme Rules 2021, the company’s next pay-per-view.

This week in RAW we observe a showdown between Drew McIntyre and Sheamus with a shot at the United States title at stake for the winner. The combat was even until the last moments, when “The Celtic Warrior” reversed a Claymore Kick in a Roll-Up to steal the count of three and the victory of the fight. Moments later, McIntyre struck Sheamus with his protector before sending him to “Claymore Country”.

Sheamus will have his revenge in the next pay-per-view after having lost the Championship at SummerSlam 2021. Let’s remember that Damian Priest defeated “The Celtic Warrior” in an individual heads-up to lift his first title on the main roster. Last week, “The Archer of Infamy” defeated Drew McIntyre and Sheamus in a triple threat with the US gold at stake.

WWE Extreme Rules 2021 will take place on Sunday, September 26 from Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. Fans will be able to witness this event live within the venue, or through WWE Network (Peacock in the United States) and via pay-per-view. Here is the updated billboard for the show to date.
