“Becky Lynch was backstage at last Monday’s Raw taping in St. Paul, Minnesota, PWInsider.com has learned,” Mike Johnson wrote. “Lynch has been out of action since suffering a dislocated shoulder. while competing against Bianca Belair at Summerslam last July. At the time of the injury it was said that Lynch was going to be out ‘several months’, so he is getting closer to returning to action.”
At SummerSlam, Becky Lynch faced Bianca Belair in a match for the Raw Women’s Championship. Belair won and Becky Lynch hit a turn by offering her hand to the champion. Immediately afterwards, Bayley made her return to WWE after more than a year absent, accompanied by IYO SKY and Dakota Kai. Becky Lynch joined Bianca Belair and caused the bad girls to leave the ring. The night after, on Monday Night Raw, Lynch made a new appearance and confirmed his arm injury. After the promo, Becky was attacked backstage by Bayley, IVO SKY and Dakota Kai.
