History says that Villarreal never win in their league debut if they play at home. Well this time the statistics are right. Villarreal dominated, attacked, maniaat and overcame a very timid Granada for a large part of the match, who only at the end wanted to do something different to put up with the rain. A somewhat frustrating draw for Emery’s men with a bitter debut by Moreno on the Nazar bench.

Villarreal has managed to renew Gerard Moreno until 2027 and sign him a friend to play whatever he wants. The arrival of Dia gives him that margin of contact with the ball in which the Catalan striker becomes one of the best in the world. Against Granada they showed that your society is a fact. They understand each other, they pass it on, and that for Emery is a blessing. In the first half a couple of clashes between the two were about to put the tie to the game. Go from Gerard to space for Dia to start in power and try to define. He was not right, but the two plays left a feeling that a tremendous couple has been born in the League. A complicated society to stop. With Alberto Moreno and Pedraza forming the left wing, the yellow team hammered over and over again to try to knock down a somewhat timid Granada with hardly any outstanding arrivals.

The second half was a carbon copy of the first. Perhaps with Granada giving up the attack even more. Villarreal tried not to despair. Pick and shovel, arrival to arrival to try to get something positive from the dominance that he exercised throughout the crash. Rulli was one more spectator of the 9,000 who gathered at the Estadio de la Cermica. When everything seemed aimed at Emery’s team ending up scoring the winning goal, Foyth was sent off.. Ah, Granada understood that if he pressed he could take some of La cermica. Jorge Molina had it as soon as he entered, but the Argentine goalkeeper showed off.

And for dessert came the great occasion. A ball leaked into the Granada area that Gerard dazzled and took a soft strike over Aaron. When the goal was already called Foulquier appeared flying to clear from the same line. Ah it’s all over. Draw and home.
