Luciana Moyano, a 16-year-old tennis player from the Juárez Celman Station, grew up practicing tennis since she was a child: she hit the ball, in the complex that her parents built to support the tennis careers of his brothers Matías and Agustín, who several years later ended up being his coaches.

Obviously it was what I was going to look for, but you never know if it can be fulfilled or not. It made me very happy”, she recalled of that experience. In addition, she got into the main draw of the Argentina Open, arriving from the Qualy, and has just been crowned champion of the ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors in Paraguay this year. Currently, she is in the 30th place in the ITJ Youth Ranking.

In this context, the tennis player from Cordoba explained that “you feel quite the difference” between participating in a professional tournament and an event like Cali Valle or Rosario 2022: “The professionals are much neater. Obviously I’m also learning, I’m a girl. Tournaments are different. But on the field you have to try to beat everyone.”

Moyano, who admires Rafael Nadal and Nadia Podoroska, will compete in the singles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles competition, where she will repeat a pair with Lautaro Midón (her partner in Cali Valle). “I hope to continue adding experience. There are not many tournaments of this type in tennis. I want to enjoy it. I would like to be able to repeat the medal like in Cali, but, more than anything, keep learning”. After the contest in Rosario, he will travel directly to Europe to play some tournaments and Roland Garros Junior.

Nicolás Chiaraviglio, an 18-year-old from Sunchales, fell in love with basketball thanks to his father and brother, who competed in the sport and even went to the bench in the National League, although he did not make his debut.

At the moment, Nicolás defends the Libertad de Sunchales shirt, the club of his entire life. On the other hand, with the Argentine National Team, he participated in the friendly tournament Sub 15 Sportmagic Junior Cup “Basketland” (where they were crowned champions).
