NBA All-Star Game 2022: latest news, players and updates for the All-Star Game

It’s almost time for the NBA Midseason Classic. The 2022 NBA All-Star Weekend is scheduled for February 18-20 in Cleveland, and we already know the starters, captains and reserves.

Lebron James (Los Angeles Lakers) and Kevin Durant (Brooklyn Nets) will again captain the two teams in this year’s All-Star Game scheduled for February 20. Both players earned the honors by finishing with the most fan votes in their respective conferences.

Chris-Paul Y Devin Booker, the Phoenix Suns’ starting backcourt, top the list of 14 reserves. James and Durant will then pick their respective teams, a format the league first instituted in 2018, Thursday on TNT.

Durant, however, is recovering from a sprained ACL in his left knee, and will not play, as will Golden State Warriors power forward, Draymond Green (back). They were replaced by the point guard of the Charlotte Hornets, LaMelo Balland the base of the San Antonio Spurs, Dejounte Murraywho will make their All-Star debut.

Keep an eye on this page as we count down the days until the league’s top talents show off their skills in Cleveland.
