- The municipality of Gorgos will host the 2022-2023 FBCV Cups in four sporting events
The Valencian Community Basketball Federation (FBCV) and the Gata de Gorgos City Council, with the collaboration of the Gata Basketball Club, have reached an agreement whereby the town of Marina Alta becomes the venue for the Preferred Cups and the Autonomous Cup for the 2022-2023 season.
In this way, Gata de Gorgos will be the main focus of basketball attention in the Valencian Community in the coming months, hosting the competitions that will award the first titles. There will be four events with four participating teams in each one of them in search of a double prize, since the champion of each Cup will have everything in their favor to culminate the category promotion during the season.
Both the Gata de Gorgos Town Hall and the basketball club have shown their firm commitment to becoming the hosts of these top-level events, competitions that can not only be followed on site in the Gata Municipal Pavilion itself, but they will multiply their audience thanks to their streaming broadcast through the FBCV YouTube Channel so that they can be followed live throughout the Valencian Community.
These are the scheduled events:
- Junior Women’s Preferred Cup
- Preferred Junior Men’s Cup
- Preferred Senior Men’s Cup
- Senior Male Autonomous Cup
The first of them will arrive on the weekend of December 3 and 4 with the Preferred Junior Women’s Cup, a competition that will bring together in the fight for the title in NBF Castelló, Baloncesto Comenius, Blansa CBF Port Sagunt and CB Sant Blas Alacant B.
