FEDERAL BASKETBALL LEAGUE: THE CLOSURE OF THE FIRST ROUND IS COMING

In the CAB Region Division 1 this Thursday the ninth date will start, the last of the first round when Belgrano visits Náutico Sportivo Avellaneda. On Friday, the leader, Regatas, will host Provincial, while on Saturday Somisa will play in Rosario against Temperley.

There is still a long way to go before the completion of the regular phase of the Federal Basketball League, but there is less to go than at the beginning and the cards are already on the table in the CAB Region Division 1. There is more to come in the group of three nicoleños teams and the six rosarinos is the closing of the first round, with the dispute of the ninth and last date. It will begin this Thursday in Rosario with the presentation starting at 9:30 p.m. of Belgrano, who will seek to prolong his good time by visiting the last in the table, Náutico Sportivo Avellaneda. The Red has two wins in a row; the last in the city classic against Regatas, which he left undefeated. Likewise, the team from Regatta continues as the sole leader, with six wins and that single fall.

On Friday from 9:00 pm Pablo Dastugue’s men will go for the recovery by receiving Provincial, with an irregular campaign (like the vast majority of the participants within a very even area). Another hesitant team is Somisa, who started the tournament by winning their first three matches, but later fell in the next three. At least the somiseros recovered, beating Náutico as locals. And now they will visit Temperley on Saturday at 9:00 p.m. in Rosario. The other clash of the day will feature Sportmen Unidos and Gymnastics: they will meet on Friday at 9:30 pm. Atalaya will be free this time.
