Tonight WWE returns to perform a SmackDown show in which Toni Storm will face Charlotte Flair in a Championship Contenders Match, among other matches already announced. The show begins with Sami Zayn making his entrance in a wheelchair due to the beating he received last week at the hands of Brock Lesnar in the first stay, and later by Roman Reigns and The Usos. Sami says that to be like this, the two biggest beasts of the company have been needed, which seems very strange, referring to a possible conspiracy, stating that they stole it. Zayn says he’s going to sue Adam Pearce, Sonya Deville, Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns and everyone else who had to do with what happened last week.

Paul Heyman interrupts, steps into the ring and takes everything Sami Zayn has said as a joke. He gets angry and threatens to hit Heyman, since he knows that Roman Reigns is not here and no one is going to save him, but Brock Lesnar appears, takes a chair and sits on it in the middle of the ring. Lesnar asks Sami if he’s okay, and Sami ironically replies yes. Brock, laughing, apologizes for what happened, but tells him that he did him a favor because he was never going to beat Roman Reigns.

After this, Brock is very nice and tells Sami that they should leave together to do something more fun. Heyman picks up the mic and shows his surprise at this attitude of Lesnar towards Zayn, since he thinks that three years ago he would do a Suplex to him. Heyman continues to speak and introduces Brock Lesnar as he did when they were together, stating that he will be the next Universal Champion, and ‘The Beast’, upon hearing him, brutally attacks Sami Zayn.

Backstage, Kayla Braxton asks Brock Lesnar what his intentions were tonight, and he replies that why doesn’t he better ask “his lawyer”, Paul Heyman.

Next, Shinsuke Nakamura and Rick Boogs confront Los Lotharios.

• Shinsuke Nakamura and Rick Boogs defeat Los Lotharios with a Kinshasa from Nakamura to Humberto.

Kofi Kingston presents backstage the new crown for King Woods with a fresh look.

Adam Pearce receives a visit from Drew McIntyre in his office and says that the list of participants of the Battle Royal to determine the next contender for the Universal Championship was made by Sonya Deville and not by him, but Sonya received orders from superiors. Furthermore, Pearce informs Drew that these superiors have decided that he cannot carry the sword anymore. An angry McIntyre drives his sword into the wooden table in Adam Pearce’s office.

Backstage, Sasha Banks talks to Toni Storm and tells her that tonight she will defeat Charlotte Flair, but to be very careful because Charlotte is going to try to go after her anyway.

Sheamus makes his entrance to the ring to face Drew McIntyre.

• Drew McIntyre defeats Sheamus with a Claymore Kick.

Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss rob Adam Pearce’s desk with Drew McIntyre’s sword stuck in, as Adam couldn’t get it out.

WWE broadcasts a video tribute to ex-wrestler Blackjack Lanza, who died a few days ago.

Kayla Braxton asks Paul Heyman backstage if he’s Brock Lesnar’s spokesperson. Heyman says stop asking him that. Kayla insists and asks about the possible reaction of Roman Reigns to what happened tonight, to which Heyman decides not to answer.

Naomi then confronts Sonya Deville. Deville features Natalya as the announcer and Shayna Baszler as the bell keeper. Naomi attacks both of them, but they eventually manage to corner her due to numerical superiority. Xia LI intervenes by making her debut and attacks Baszler and Natalya. Sonya Deville is left alone in the ring with Naomi and Li, and receives a kick from the china. Finally, Natalya and Shayna pull Sonya out of the ring.

Charlotte Flair and Toni Storm face off in a Championship Contenders Match.

• Toni Storm defeats Charlotte Flair via disqualification. Flair ruthlessly attacked Storm and the referee was forced to stop the fight.

Brock Lesnar walks into Adam Pearce’s office, who is immediately intimidated by ‘The Beast’. Lesnar reminds him of the indefinite suspension that Pearce put him for attacking him a little over a month ago, but deep down he says that he thanks him because he took advantage of that free time to go hunting. Brock says he hunted, killed, gutted and ate a moose that he named ‘Pearce’, honoring Adam Pearce.

The stellar event of the night arrives. The Usos, The New Day and RK-Bro will meet in a Triple Threat team match.

• The New Day beat RK-Bro and The Usos with a team finish.
