WWE Raw Report 12/6 – Big E vs Owens caged

Seth Rollins welcomed us to Raw. He was hoping to see Big E and Kevin Owens tear each other apart inside the steel cage before winning the WWE Championship on Day 1.

Steel Cage Match – WWE Champion Big E defeated Kevin Owens behind Big Ending from the third rope.

Rollins attacked Big E while celebrating. However, Big E gave Rollins a suplex and he hit Owens with another Big Ending.

Bobby Lashley ran out and took all three out during a commercial break.

They announced a tournament to determine the next rivals for RK-Bro. The tournament has four teams.

Queen Zelina (with Carmella) defeated Nikki ASH (with Rhea Ripley)

Ripley comforted Nikki in the back when a fan apparently approached Nikki to ask for an autograph because she was his favorite. Nikki was happy to please, but the fan was actually referring to someone else. The camera moved to reveal Jerry Lawler, who had a great reaction here in Memphis. Lawler happily gave the fan an autograph. Ripley was upset with Lawler.

The Street Profits defeated AJ Styles & Omos via countdown when Omos was punishing them outside and did not return in time.

Styles tried to tell Omos that he needed to hear it, but Omos just gave up on him.

Riddle tried to interview Styles, but Styles wasn’t interested. Styles threatened Riddle before deciding to leave. Riddle asked Orton if he wanted to add anything. Orton grabbed the mic and said “no.”

Damian Priest defeated Robert Roode (with Dolph Ziggler) to retain the United States Championship. Ziggler attacks Priest after the fight.

Liv Morgan got a good luck text message from Stratus today.

Bianca Belair defeated Doudrop by countdown when Doudrop escapes from TKO and leaves.

Austin Theory met again with Vince McMahon in his office. Theory basically hasn’t learned any lessons from the past week and McMahon was upset.

MizTV with the guest, Edge

Edge hoped to fight with new talents and was not interested in holding people back. Edge called him an idiot. Miz said that he has beaten Edge and that he would start the new year by beating him on Day 1. Edge accepted his challenge.
Edge challenged him to a fight right now, but Miz of course said no. Edge scared him like he was going to attack him but Miz fell off in shock.

Dominik and Rey Mysterio defeated Alpha Academy

Riddle tried to interview Alpha Academy but Otis beat him up.

McMahon informed Theory that he couldn’t get him a match tonight, so she’s going to have to find another way to impress him.

Finn Bálor defeated T-Bar

Austin Theory then attacked Bálor and took selfies.

Reggie spoke to Dana Brooke, but they were interrupted when Tamina chased her for the championship 24/7.

Patrick asked MVP and Lashley why Lashley attacked Big E, Rollins and Owens. MVP told Patrick that people today are too afraid of disrespecting others because they fear the consequences, but Lashley is not. Lashley said those men faced the consequences of trying to have a WWE title fight without him.

In the main, Becky Lynch retained the Women’s Championship against Liv Morgan when the iron grabbing the ropes.
