Kickoff – Sheamus and Ridge Holland vs Cesaro and Ricochet
The fight begins in a very balanced way by both teams to the point where Sheamus and Ricochet enter the ring. Sheamus captures Ricochet in a headlock and finishes off his rival with a backbreaker. Sheamus tries the count but reaches two. The Celtic Warrior tries his luck again by putting pressure on him.
Apparently, Ridge Holland is removed from the fight because at the beginning of the fight he suffered a big blow to the nose by Ricochet. Ridge Holland is reported to have broken his nose.
From one moment to the next, Ricochet flips Sheamus with a Tornado DDT and gives the relief to Cesaro. The Swiss Superman enters the ring striking several Uppercuts against Sheamus until he is out of the ring. Cesaro climbs to the third rope and launches himself against Sheamus with a Diving Crossbody… 1… 2… the fight continues! Cesaro proceeds to apply a Swing to him and then finishes him off with a Sharpshooter…. Sheamus gets to touch the chord! Rope break! Sheamus surprises Cesaro with a knee… 1… 2… Ricochet to the rescue! Sheamus catches Ricochet and gives him a White Noise outside the ring. The Celtic Warrior is launched from the third rope but Cesaro receives him in the air with an Uppercut. Cesaro continues with several Upperctus, but Sheamus finishes him off with a Brogue Kick and gets the victory on the count of three.
RESULT: Sheamus and Ridge Holland defeat Cesaro and Ricochet on WWE Day 1.

Fight for the WWE SmackDown tag team championships – The Usos (c) vs King Woods and Kofi Kingston
King Woods and Jimmy Uso start a struggle as soon as the fight begins. Woods tries to kick Jimmy in the chest, leads him to the corner, and takes over to Kofi Kingston. Woods and Kofi join forces to punish Jimmy and master the fight. Jimmy tries to get to his feet and begins to deal blows against Kingston, however, this is faster and escapes out of the ring to climb the third rope and attack his rival. But, Jimmy surprises him with a Wheel Kick and then gives the baton to his brother. Jey gives Kofi a Backdrop Suplex and dominates the fight. Bodyslam for Kofi by Jey. Kofi is positioned in one of the corners of the ring and Jey gives him an avalanche.
From one moment to the next, Kofi surprises Jey and tries to go to give the relief to Woods, but Jimmy appears on the scene after receiving the relief and gives a Superkick to Woods preventing the tag. Jey and Jimmy take turns punishing Kofi and he receives a Superkick. Kofi applies a Tornado DDT to Jey, Woods receives the relief, Jimmy also, and it is King Woods who enters the ring dominating him. Jey appears on the scene to help his brother but Woods takes him out of the ring and then continues with Jimmy with a Russian Leg Sweep. King Woods dominates the ring, loads Jimmy with a Fireman’s Carry… 1… 2… almost!
The action moves out of the ring for a few moments, upon returning to the ring Jimmy surprises Woods from the third rope… 1… 2… the fight is not over yet! Jey returns to the ring and gives Woods a Samoan Drop… the count reaches two! Woods tries to interpose himself before Jimmy with several right hands, and he returns them to him. Woods does not give up you have taken down his rival. Kofi returns to the corner and launches from the third rope at Jimmy with a Diving Crossbody… 1… 2… almost! Kingston prevents Jimmy from entering the ring…. Boom Drop for Jey! Superkick surprise for Kofi! Jimmy’s Splash Uses for Kingston! 1… 2… KOFI IS STILL STANDING! Jimmy attacks Kofi’s leg and initiates a Single Crab against his opponent. Kingston reaches out to touch the rope and Jimmy cancels the lock. Relay for Jey, but… Woods takes Jimmy out of the ring! Kofi’s Double Roll-Up for Jey! The count reaches 2! SOS for Jey! The count is still two! Relay for Woods, he launches from the third rope with a Diving Elbow Drop… 1… 2… THE COMBAT CONTINUES!
Relief for Kofi Kingston, Jey gets rid of Woods, Superkick for Kingston, relief for Jimmy and Kofi receives a double Superkick. Jey receives the baton again and… DOUBLE USES SPLASH FOR KOFI! WOODS COMES TO THE RESCUE TO CANCEL THE ACCOUNT! The Usos opt for a 3D against Kofi Kingston… Jimmy covers Kofi… 1… 2… 3!
RESULT: The Usos retain the tag team championships against King Woods and Kofi Kingston on WWE Day 1.
