The member of the WWE Hall of Fame Shawn Michaels he was talking about WWE NXT In a recent interview with Jim Varsallone in which he argued why he thinks the development brand is a more fun and enjoyable place for wrestlers than the company’s main shows:
“The reason it’s so exciting and the reason so many of us come to NXT is that this, to us, is everything that’s wonderful and pure about being a part of WWE; that’s why we all got in here. It’s wonderful when you manage to rise to the top brands, when you hit SmackDown or go to RAW. But that’s when this becomes a business and everything together begins to alter your life completely. This (NXT) is that moment before you get to that commercial aspect; where it’s fun, it’s exciting, it’s about the love of doing this and going out to fight. ” Shawn said.

Michaels also spoke about the very important role of the brand as an enhancer of new talents and the fighters who will be the faces of the main roster tomorrow, something that has happened -for example- with the two main roster Women’s Champions Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair, who came to the company as part of NXT and are now the main female figures of their respective brands.
“Now, I recognize that one of the buzz words in this business is ‘we are producing new, young and fresh superstars’ but they are really people who have been in this job for 10 or 15 years and just got on TV. We are the only brand in the world that is bringing in young, fresh and real men and women who will be the stars of RAW and SmackDown for the next 5-10 years. It’s that easy.” The Hall of Fame member concluded.
