Ric Flair hopes to impress many in his final fight

Ric Flair will compete tonight in his final match when he teams up with Andrade El Idolo to take on Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett.

While speaking to TMZ Sports, Flair hinted that he will bleed in the fight at some point.

“I know people think all I have to do is walk in the ring and go ‘wooo’ and do this. [se lleva la mano a la frente]. I have to give you much more than that to satisfy me and for you to say on Monday: ‘Sh*t. What the hell just happened? How can that guy be 73 years old? That is my goal right now.”

“Monday morning for you guys to say, ‘What the f*ck. How did you accomplish that?’ Bro I’ll have one [una cuchilla] tied to my finger a mile long. [Hace el gesto de cortarse]. When all else fails [risas]. I’ll take a lot of pressure off myself by the time I get to that. For years I couldn’t work without him.”

Flair also stated that he has no concerns about his health despite having a pacemaker in his chest. He also noted that he has been drinking again before the fight:

“I haven’t asked anyone since I started training. No one has told me no. Aside from getting plantar treatment, I haven’t been back to the heart doctor. I feel great. My heart, at my age with the pacemaker, you’re never supposed to get your heart rate 50 points above your age. I should never get it up to 130. Yesterday, riding my bike, I got to 193. If there’s anything plugged up, it hasn’t turned me back yet. [risas].”

“I’ve had it up to 203. I’ve been doing 500 free squats and things like that, like I used to. 500 in 12 minutes. They think I’m counting from 490. I’ll do 500 again tomorrow, take a day off, 500 on Friday, and probably ride the bike Saturday and Sunday and enjoy it. I guarantee that I will drink every night. I don’t do well when I don’t drink at night. I’m like Lawrence Taylor,” he said.
