Charlotte Flair was sent to WWE SmackDown by demand of FOX

Last night we saw the first of the two WWE DRAFT shows this year and in it we could see how the WWE RAW women’s champion, Charlotte Flair, was traded to SmackDown. Apparently this was a demand from FOX to WWE.

FOX forced WWE to send Charlotte Flair to SmackDown

WWE celebrated the first night of the 2021 Draft on SmackDown and there were some big choices, including RAW Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair found herself on the blue mark. It turns out that Fox was adamant about getting The Queen for his show.

According to a report from Wrestling Inc, Fox wanted Charlotte Flair on his show. They especially asked that Flair be transferred to their show.

FOX officials specifically asked that Flair be brought to SmackDown in the Draft.

Charlotte Flair attacked two of the best fighters of the blue brand, Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks at the end of the SmackDown show This week. Obviously with this she put herself on top of the brand’s fighters, but that change won’t go into effect until October 22, a day after WWE Crown Jewel.

This is an interesting situation, because the Queen, Charlotte Flair, is still the Raw Women’s Champion on SmackDown. We’ll have to see what WWE does with Becky Lynch, because chances are the SmackDown women’s title will find its way to the red mark somehow to even things out.
