Through social networks, Batista responded to a fan who asked him if he wanted to work with The Rock and John Cena with a “No, I’m fine.” This made even John Cena himself sad at the words of his former partner Batista:
I am also sad because he is someone with a lot of talent. Dave Bautista has done some really amazing work. I put myself in his place and I understand it, he has worked a lot to give his personal touch to the characters he plays and wants to give him his own identity. I really understand that you want to work alone. Dave is a very good person and one of the most generous guys you can find. I don’t have a problem with him and he doesn’t have a problem with me.
