Adam Pearce lifts Bobby Lashley’s suspension

During the broadcast of last episode of Monday Night Raw, Bobby Lashley faced Seth Rollins in the main event of the show. The winner earned a shot at the United States Championship, currently held by Austin Theory.

In the final moments, Lashley applied the Spear but the referee, damaged by an earlier blow, slowly applied the count of three, which helped Seth Rollins to get free. Between complaints, Rollins knocked out Lashley and got the victory. Once the match was over, Lashley complained to the referee and hit another who had entered the ring. A furious Adam Pearce showed up and decided to “fire” Bobby Lashley to the amazement of “The All Mighty”.

After hours, his own Adam Pearce posted a video on social media, officially withdrawing Lashley’s firing. Pearce noted that Lashley’s behavior is unacceptable and is an issue that will have repercussions, but apologized for letting his emotions get the best of him in a heated moment.

“Despite what I said last night, Bobby Lashley is not fired“, Pearce clarified. “I formally withdraw the firing of Bobby Lashley and I sincerely apologize for my part in escalating an already volatile situation.” WWE is scheduled to continue the storyline between the two personalities next week.

Bobby Lashley in the WWE Alumni section

Despite Adam Pearce’s words, Bobby Lashley has been transferred to the Alumni section of the official WWE website, where the company places the stars who worked in the past. Lashley is likely to be traded back to the main roster in the next few hours.
