Enrico Dueñas had his first practice as a player for El Salvador’s senior team at the Cuscatlán stadium, a couple of hours after his arrival in the country for the octagonal matches.
Dueñas arrived at the El Salvador airport at 11:10 in the morning and from the air terminal he moved to Villa Selecta. In the afternoon he appeared among the group of selected ones who are already under the orders of Hugo Pérez.
“I think they are going to be very crazy games: the United States, Honduras and Canada, they have a lot of quality but so do we. Thank you for all the love you give me, I appreciate it very much and I hope to see you in the stadium, to be able to make you feel proud and I hope Let’s win, “Dueñas said before his training session.
As reported by the FESFUT, coach Hugo Pérez had his afternoon practice on Sunday and trained with the almost complete squad after the incorporation of some of the 10 legionaries summoned.
Joaquín Rivas, Eriq Zavaleta and Joshua Pérez, among others, are already incorporated into the selection.
El Salvador prepares the game against the United States on September 2 at the Cuscatlán stadium, the same stage where on September 5 they will be measured against Honduras.
The blue and white will then travel to Toronto where they will face Canada on September 8 on the first triple date of the octagonal heading to the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
