With the arrival of Tyreek Hill to the Dolphins, Miami’s offense looks like one of the fastest in the league thanks, also, to Jaylen Wadle. Now, both WRs will be measured to determine who is the fastest.
During the “I am Athlete” podcast, hosted by Chad Johnson, ‘Pacman’ Jones and Omar Kelly, Waddle acknowledged that he will have a career with Hill and prepares to face the former element of the Chiefs.
“I knew this would happen,” he developed. “The day after the trade, I said, ‘I know he’s going to try to run against me. I prepared myself’. I know we will have a race.”
On March 25, when Hill was introduced to Miami after the Kansas City trade, the West Alabama product was interested in competing against Waddle. “I will talk to him, we will do some training. Even a race. Because, no matter where, the ‘Cheetah’ must prove that he is the fastest on the team, no matter what.”
Hill seems to have the advantage in considering that rrecords 4.29 seconds in the 40 yardsmark higher than the 4.37 that Waddle has. However, in 2021 Waddle added one of the fastest races of the campaign, registering a top speed of 21.8 miles.

On the other hand, Waddle talked about his production as a rookie. Although he set the receiving record for a wide receiver, the Alabama alum indicated that he will look to generate more receiving yards in his second season as a pro. “I have to generate more yards. I must generate them like crazy. That is something I know and I must prove. I won’t talk much about it. I just have to go out there and prove it.” he explained.
During his first season in the NFL, Waddle posted 475 after the catch, 10th-most in the league. However, he only averaged 4.5 yards per catch, dropping to 24th.
