Campillo was with the first team of Guadalajara in the last Preseason under the orders of Víctor Manuel Vucetich in 2021, however in the regular season he did not receive opportunities: “The competition here in Chivas is highly demanding, there are 2 or 3 players per position, and aside from the fact that they are among the best in Mexico, that’s why you have to do something extra every day and to the max; in my case it was very difficult for me to earn a place, when I tried harder than necessary I saw the results and I cannot slow down”, Campillo commented in statements for the official Chivas portal a few months ago.
