Leagues defined FEB 21/22

LEB Gold (18 teams)
  • Descend (2): Students, GBC.
  • They remain (14): Almansa, Friends, Bahía San Agustín, Bàsquet Girona, Cáceres, Coruña, Força Lleida *, FBCG, FLBA, Melilla, OCB, Palencia, Peñas, Real Valladolid.
  • Ascend (2): Iraurgi, Prat.

In the competition bases, the possibility of a reduction of the league to 18 teams was already anticipated, as has happened, which allows eliminating the division into two groups, in such a way that there will be a regular league of 34 days, with the subsequent playoffs. There will not be two teams that had a place: Real Murcia Baloncesto, which despite playing the playoffs has not found the necessary financial support, and Barça B, which has given up the place obtained after being promoted from LEB Plata to ICG Força Lleida, which avoids thus the decline harvested on the track. Yes there will be the others promoted from Plata (Juaristi ISB and CB Prat), as well as the two descended from ACB (Movistar Estudiantes and Acunsa GBC).

LEB Silver (28 teams)
  • Descend (3): COB, Real Canoe, Tizona.
  • They remain (20): Albacete, Bàsquet Menorca, Benicarló, Carbajosa, Círculo Gijón, City of Ponferrada, Clavijo, Cornellà *, Enrique Soler, Estela, Gran Canaria B, La Roda, Marbella, Morón *, Navarra, UDEA, Villarrobledo, Zamora, Zentro, Zornotza.
  • Ascend (5): Alginet, Cartagena, Mollet *, Sant Antoni *, Valencia B.

Three of the four will be relegated, as Força Lleida will continue to be Gold. Of the five teams that achieved promotion to Silver, only three have made it effective (Alginet, Valencia B and Cartagena), while the Fuenlabrada and Estudiantes subsidiaries will continue in EBA; its place is occupied by Mollet and Sant Antoni, sixth and seventh classified after the five mentioned above. All of them will go to the East Group, like the descended Real Canoe. The other two descendants will go to the West, to which Navarra returns. For their part, Cornellà and Morón avoid the descent to which they were led; The Catalans do it by exchanging their place with Barça B (which had obtained it after exchanging it with Força Lleida), while the Andalusians benefit from the vacancies produced, since the non-promotion of the Madrid subsidiaries from EBA joins the non-exit of Pardinyes , which is out of the FEB Leagues.

EBA League (132 teams)
CONFERENCE A (32)
  • They remain (25): Ardoi, Basket León, Baskonia B *, Becedo, Betanzos, Cantbasket, Chantada, Culleredo, Easo, Gijón Basket, La Flecha, Logrobasket, Miraflores B, Óbila, Ointxe, Obradoiro B, Pas Piélagos, Porriño, Kingdom of Léon, Santurtzi, Solares, Tormes, University of Valladolid, Valle de Egüés, Zarautz.
  • Ascend (7 National First): Bosco Salesianos, Claret Segovia, Getxo, Leioa, OCB B, Peixe, Venta de Baños *.

Their promotion from the National League materialized six of the eight teams that had achieved it on the track, all except the Cantabrian Entrambasaguas and the Castilian-Leon Villares. Their places will be occupied by Venta de Baños, which returns to the category, and the Baskonia subsidiary, which thus avoids the decline.

CONFERENCE B (16)
  • Descend (1): Alcobendas.
  • They remain (11): Alcalá, Students B *, Estudio, Fuenlabrada B *, Guadalajara, Náutico Tenerife, La Matanza, Pozuelo, Quintanar, Real Madrid B, Uros de Rivas.
  • Ascend (4 First National): Dadarmo Güímar, Majadahonda, Socuéllamos, Zentro B.

The resignation of the Fuenlabrada and Estudiantes subsidiaries to materialize the promotion to LEB Plata prevents the decrease from this category of Alcobendas from being compensated, so that finally there have been six relegations to the National League, which condemns Distrito and Daimiel. Majadahonda and Zentro B from Madrid, Dadarmo Güímar from the Canary Islands and Socuéllamos from Castilian-Manchego. Everything indicates that the competition will return to the single group.

CONFERENCE C (36)
  • Descend (3 LEB Silver): Barça B *, L’Hospitalet, Tarragona.
  • They remain (28): Alfindén, Almozara, Alpicat, Artés, Badalonès, Bahía San Agustín B, Barberà, Basket Zaragoza B, Bisbal, Castelldefels, CBZ, Es Castell, Esparreguera, Igualada, Joventut B, Maresme Boet Mataró 3 Viles *, Maristes Ademar, Martinenc, Martorell, Llucmajor, Quart, Roser, Salou, SESE, UE Mataró, Sant Cugat, Valls, Vic.
  • Ascend (5): Andratx *, Bàsquet Girona B, Navàs *, Santfeliuenc *, UE Horta *.

Barça B, who despite achieving promotion to Gold made two exchanges to compete in EBA, accompanies the descendants L’Hospitalet and Tarragona. In the conference with more teams in the category, a total of 28 from the past year are maintained, including one of the descendants (Maresme Boet Mataró 3 Viles), jumping the Bàsquet Girona B (champion) from the First Catalan National, from where they also come Navàs (runner-up), UE Horta (third classified) and Santfeliuenc (did not play in the final phase due to promotion); In addition to these three Catalan teams, another vacancy is filled by the Balearic Andratx, which returns to FEB leagues after the resignation of champion Esporles.

CONFERENCE D (24)
  • They remain (21): Almería, Andújar, Benahavís, Cáceres B, Cimbis, CBSFDO, Ciudad de Dos Hermanas, City of Huelva, El Pinar, Enrique Benítez, Enrique Soler B, Estepona, Gymnástica Portuense, La Zubia, Novaschool, Peñarroya, Real Betis B, Sagrado Cáceres, ULB *, Unicaja B, Xerez *.
  • Ascend (3): Coria, Jaén *, City of Academy Badajoz *.

ULB and Xerez are still in EBA despite having dropped, joining 19 other teams that maintain their place, which has seemed to give up a Martos that does not appear on the registered list (he had saved the category). From the First National, the Andalusian runner-up Coria rises, expanding the group by two units when Jaén (who had played the Andalusian F4) and the new project of the CBAcademy in Badajoz after joining forces with ED Guadalupe (creates a senior team to compete in EBA).

CONFERENCE E (24)
  • Descend (1 LEB Silver): Jairis.
  • They remain (16): Aldaia *, Amics B, Benidorm, Calpe, Carolinas *, Fundación Lucentum B, Gandía, L’Alcora *, L’Horta Godella, Llíria, UCAM B, Paterna, Picken Claret, Puerto Sagunto, Tabernes Blanques , Torrent.
  • Ascend (7): Alginet B *, Archena *, Begastri, Ilicitano, Molina *, Sueca *, Vila-real.

The relegated Jairis (Silver) and the promoted Begastri, Ilicitano and Vila-real (First National) join the 16 teams that continue in a group that grows to 24 members, maintaining the category three of them despite relegation (Aldaia , Carolinas and L’Alcora). Completing the expansion of the group are three National First (Alginet B, Archena and Sueca) and one Autonomous First that had achieved promotion to PN (Molina).
