Third and not least is MacKenzie Gore, the top pitching prospect in the organization who is also left-handed like Snell. This could be the rotation project, not necessarily the one that tends to win big or make good starts, but it would start his run in the Majors and become the face of the Padres rotation in the future. At Spring Training 2022, MacKenzie posted 16 strikeouts in 12 innings with a 4.50 ERA.
