Tonight, Adolis and Chapman will be the stars of the Cuban sky

The gardener Jose Adolis Garcia and the closer Aroldis chapman will represent Cuba tonight in the 91st edition of the Major League Baseball All-Star Game, which will take place at Coors Field, Denver.

Chapman will be participating in his seventh midseason classic, while Adolis will debut in this class of contests.

This year the left-hander from Holguin had a brilliant start to the campaign of just one run allowed in his first 20 innings of work, but as of June his performance fell apart and right now he exhibits a high average of 4.55, with a WHIP of 1.48.

In his defense, yes, you have to target 16 saves and five victories for the cause of the Yankees, with a strikeout rate of 15.8 every nine innings (52 in 29.2).

For his part, the Avilanian took full advantage of his opportunity in the Texas line up and exhibits an offensive line of .270 / .312 / .527, with 22 homers (fifth best total in the American League) and 62 RBIs (sixth).
