The Los Angeles Dodgers gave everything they had in the race for the National League West pennant, but despite everything it was not enough, since they lost it by a single game difference to their rivals San Francisco Giants, who won it for the first time since 2012 and cut Blues’ streak of 8 consecutive divisional titles. Now, the still monarchs of MLB will have to fight a life and death duel against the St. Louis Cardinals in the game for the National League Wild Card.
Manager Dave Roberts would have to go all out with his best available lineup to face perhaps the most fiery team in all of Major Leagues like the Cardinals, who have won 20 of their last 22 regular-season games. Max Muncy’s injury loss would be the most noticeable in the Californian ninth and perhaps Roberts would have to improvise a bit.
The probable lineup in the absence of Muncy at first base would be the following with Cody Bellinger resuming the initial:
C- Will Smith
1 B– Cody Bellinger
2B- Trea turner
3B- Justin turner
H.H- Corey seager
CF- AJ Pollock
LF- Chris taylor
RF- Mookie betts
P- Max scherzer
What lineup will Dave Roberts end up using against the Cardinals?
