MLB: Juan Soto finally comes out of his slump, he has his best day since he arrived in the Padres

Life in the San Diego Padres has not been easy for Juan Sotosince he is hitting very poorly since the change, being in perhaps the worst slump of his career to date. the moment, as he was hitting .089/.292/.107 in his last 18 games without a home run and without any extra base hits. However, it seems that this Sunday he finally woke up and had the best day of his, perhaps since who came out of the Washington Nationals.

Against the Arizona Diamondbacks, Juan Soto was the man of the game as he went 4-for-3 to shake off his demons and not only hit his first extra-base hit since late August, but also his first home run: He hit two doubles, a home run, traded a walked and scored two runs and drove in two more.

With this, Soto reached 25 homers in the year and 58 RBIs, also raising his batting average to .239, hoping that this meeting will be the one that can change the Dominican’s luck with the Padres in the postseason, being the catalyst of the team’s offense in the absence of Fernando Tatis Jr.

I’m a fan of the San Francisco Giants, number one defender of Barry Bonds, and hater of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Fernando Tatis Jr., Juan Soto and Ronald Acuña are the future of baseball, Mike Trout is overrated, and the Astros deserved to have the World Series taken from them for their cheating. Besides baseball, I also enjoy football, flag football, basketball, and just about any other game that involves a ball or ball. I’m also an amateur musician, a penniless gamer and very nerdy.
