MLB: Dodgers claim and recover from Orioles waivers to third base that in 2018 changed for Manny Machado

The young third baseman Rylan Bannon was claimed off waivers by the Los Angeles Dodgers. Bannon’s tenure in the Baltimore Orioles ended this Monday, when his former organization claimed him after landing in Baltimore cWe are part of the Manny Machado change in 2018.

After making his MLB debut on May 12, the 26-year-old, 5-foot-3 Bannon ruled out playing time this season (he was called up in June but didn’t appear) and now has an opportunity with the club that selected him in the eighth round in the 2017 Draft:

Of the return of infielder Machado, only the O’s now remain, Cuban outfielder Yusniel Díaz and right-hander Dean Kremer (native of Israel). The departure of infielder Bannon also creates a vacancy on the Baltimore Orioles’ 40-man roster.

Rylan Thomas Bannon, born April 22, 1996, in Joliet, Illinois, hasn’t fared well in what little he’s played in the GL this year: He’s 2-for-14 (.143) in four games with two total bases and five strikeouts. He hasn’t played in MLB since May 16.
