Everything you need to know about the Reentry Draft in LIDOM

Like every year the Dominican Winter League prepares for the call Reentry Draft, where each of the four teams qualified for the postseason draws a roster of players as reinforcements for the two eliminated teams.

The Reentry Draft concerns the 2021-22 campaign of the LIDOM It will take place this Wednesday, December 22, here at El Fildeo we list everything you need to know about the draft.

Native or Imported Daft?

In addition to the Reentry Draft, the draw is known as the Native and Imported Draft, since the teams that go to the postseason have the power to choose either native or imported players from those published for the draft. Although by rule the four classified teams must make three selections of native players at least.

Where can the Draft be seen?

The LIDOM Reentry Draft 2021-22 will be broadcast at 4:00 pm on the league’s YouTube channel, LIDOM TV. In a meeting via zoom between the teams’ operations departments.

Which teams will the selected players be from?

The players published in the Reentry Draft will be from the Toros del Este and Leones del Escogido, while the selectors will be the Gigantes del Cibao, Estrellas Orientales, Tigres del Licey and Águilas Cibaeñas, as teams that qualified for the postseason and will choose from the draw six players.
