Everything is back to normal with the Buffalo Bills after the unexpected loss they suffered last Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Today in Week 10 of the NFL they defeated (45-17) the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium. The Buffalo team returned to the bases with a dominant offense and exploding with the ground and air attack; plus another good display from the defense led by coordinator Leslie Freizer.
The Bills show their muscle on offense
Gone was the six-point game for the Bills in Week 9 where they incredibly lost to the Jaguars. The story was completely different this Sunday in New Jersey with a great performance from QB Josh Allen on the attack. He returned to command the offense through the air with 366 yards achieved with a couple of touchdowns and an interception. Above all made it look WR Steffon Diggs, who had his best game of the season with 162 receiving yards in eight attempts and was present with a touchdown.
The running game continues to give high points in the campaign. Now it was not only RB Devin Singletary and Zack Moss who appeared and contributed on the ground with a touchdown each. There was also a lot of activity for Matt Breida thanks to a 28-yard performance on three carries for a touchdown; plus 22 more yards in reception and another touchdown. Numbers that show that Breida could become more important in the offensive scheme of the Bills.
Buffalo continues to show his great defense
Another tremendous display of the defensive section of the Bills, which game by game becomes more solid and provokes deliveries of the ball to rival quarterbacks. Now his victim was Mike White who returned to the reality of the NFL. The Bills end with Mike White’s fairy tale
It was White’s third NFL starter game with the Jets, having marveled at the victory over the Cincinnati Bengals and coming out near the start of the game against the Indianapolis Colts. Today Mike White faced one of the best defenses in the NFL and felt what it’s like to battle seriously. He had four interceptions and was never able to keep the Jets a competitive team on the field.
After three weeks that QB1 Zach Wilson’s injury occurred and with White’s performance, head coach Robert Saleh must be very clear that once his quarterback selected in the first round of this 2021 is healthy, he must return to the title. Simply put, White was a very good game against the Bengals, but he has not been able to maintain the same level in the next two games.
