All five players to watch from the NFC Championship Game

The NFL National Conference offers a ticket to Super Bowl LVI and the San Francisco 49ers and the Los Angeles Rams will fight fiercely to reach the last Sunday of the 2021 season. With SoFi Stadium as the setting, this will be the first time that one of the conference finals and the Super Bowl will take place in the same stadium.

The Rams have won seven of their last eight games, however, the loss against the Niners in Week 18. Added to this, the San Francisco team has a hegemony over the whole of Los Angeles, since he has won the last six commitments between both franchises.

It will also be the ninth time since the league’s 2002 realignment that division rivals have met in the postseason after being swept in the regular season. The team that won in the regular season is 5-3 in the playoffs.

Here are the Five Players To Follow NFC Championship Game.

Aaron Donald/DT/Rams

Donald knows the importance of ending the Niners’ hegemony in the game and will look to be a deciding factor in the NFC Championship Game. The Penn State product has appeared in 15 games against San Francisco since being drafted and is averaging 4.3 tackles and 0.8 sacks.

Jimmy Garoppolo/QB/49ers

Jimmy Garoppolo is 4-1 in the playoffs and in the four wins he hasn’t needed to throw more than 175 yards. Now, he’ll have to face a great defense that will pressure him with Von Miller and Aaron Donald and keep him from completing shots with Jalen Ramsey in coverage.

Matthew Stafford/QB/Rams

In the final game of the regular season, the Niners’ defense tormented Matthew Stafford by sacking him five times and intercepting two of his shots. However, the former Detroit Lions quarterback is motivated after notching his first two playoff wins at the expense of the Arizona Cardinals and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Deebo Samuel/WR/49ers

Although Deebo Samuel is listed as a wide receiver, his value on the gridiron is greater due to his versatility to run with the ball. In the Divisional Round game against the Green Bay Packers he led the Niners in scrimmage yards after posting 83 yards on 13 offensive touches and considering the weather won’t be a factor at SoFi Stadium, Samuel has everything to shine in the Final of the National Conference.

Cooper Kupp/WR/Rams

Cooper Kupp, best wide receiver in the entire NFL in the 2021 season, must become Matthew Stafford’s most reliable target again in the NFC Championship Game. In the two regular-season games, Kupp caught 18 of 20 passes thrown his way and generated 240 yards for a touchdown.
