The loser of game 3 will face the loser of game 2, in what will be classified as game number 5. The loser of game 4 will do the same against the loser of game 1, in game number 6.

Those who lose games 5 and 6 will be eliminated, while the winners of those matches will meet in game 7. There, the loser will be eliminated, and the winner will meet in the second final, this time against the loser of the first final. , in a match in which the last quota for the 2023 World Baseball Classic will be decided.


The rosters for this Group B of the World Classic qualifiers have a peculiarity, and that is that all the teams have more players born in their countries than foreigners, even the teams from countries that do not have much baseball culture, such as Argentina, Pakistan and New Zealand.
