And he even uploaded a tweet announcing that he will stop using Rawlings gloves, the sponsoring brand of the award for the best glove in the Major Leagues, and although he first asked if there was any brand that wanted to sponsor him, then he changed his mind and announced that he will start doing the gloves. your own to market them under your brand “@HDMHApparel ”.
Now, the forced question, is Stroman right, did he deserve it?
The truth is that leaving aside the intensity of the pitcher and his tendency to make drama on social networks, he DID deserve a nomination. Stroman is not only one of the best defensive pitchers this season, but also in recent years and for many one of the best athletes in all of the Major Leagues.
His stamina, agility and reflexes are elite in the entire league and I don’t just say it here, thousands of hours of video prove it throughout his career. And do not look for it, that Stroman being intense as he is, he was commissioned to publish several videos as evidence to his case.
