In a surprise move, the Sultans of Monterrey exchanged the first baseman and designated team with the Águilas de Mexicali. Henry Urrutia by left-handed pitcher Manuel Valdez. The change was made on loan and applies for the rest of the season, as reported by Prensa Águilas on the official website of the ARCO League.
The 34-year-old from Las Tunas had a small stint in the Major Leagues with the Baltimore Orioles in 2013, he also had experience in AAA, Venezuelan baseball and the National Series with the Las Tunas Lumberjacks, reaching the postseason in the Los Tunas years 2007 and 2008 and achieving the second place of the batters during for of seasons.
