Danry Vásquez spoke after agreeing with the Sharks for the LVBP 2021-2022

The gardener of the Sharks from La Guaira, Danry Vasquez speak on exclusive with the ElFildeo team and left important statements for the 2021-2022 season of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP), same that will be his third with this organization.

Facing the 2021-2022 season of the LVBP, the La Guaira Sharks reached an agreement with the Venezuelan outfielder Danry Vásquez, which will allow him to play his third season with the “sharks” and the sixth in this winter league, being very excited about it and being completely in a position to do a good performance with the guairistas.

Plans

The gardener commented to our editor Enrique Cáceres, that he hopes to give 100% of his conditions, entrusting himself to God to have health and have a positive year with the Tiburones de La Guaira team.

First day

Danry assured to be ready to play from the opening day with La Guaira, so he will play the first series against Caribes de Anzoátegui in the city of Puerto La Cruz.

Numbers

During the year 2021, the outfielder played with the Rieleros de Aguascalientes in the Mexican Baseball League, playing 25 games, with 22 hits, four home runs and an average of .278. While in the 2020-2021 LVBP, he hit AVG of .414, OBP of .541, SLG of .678 and OPS of 1,219, with 36 hits, five home runs, 28 RBIs and 25 runs scored in 111 at-bats. However, the numbers are not a priority for him when it comes to playing, he does not give them so much importance.

“I don’t think in numbers, I don’t think about last year, my priority is this season and God is giving me the strength to keep moving forward and have a great year,” said the Sharks outfielder.

The La Guaira Sharks debut next Saturday the 23rd against the Anzoátegui Caribs at the Alfonzo Chico Carrasquel Stadium in Puerto La Cruz and that they have a player like Danry Vásquez from day one, will be of vital importance.
