Pablo Sandoval’s performance in the LVBP can open the door to the MLB again

Pablo Sandoval has made it clear that he wants to play again in the MLB. The Venezuelan utility man was released midway through the 2021 season by the Cleveland Guardians, who received him from the Atlanta Braves in exchange for Eddie Rosario.

Sandoval does not play at least 100 games in the Big leagues since 2019, when he wore the jersey of the San Francisco Giants. It was his second spell with the club that he helped win the World Series three times.

His problems with weight and injuries and a decline in his performance have lowered the profile of the Venezuelan, who in search of a new contract returned to the LVBP, the league of his country, in which he did not appear since the 2012-13 campaign.

With the Navegantes del Magallanes Sandoval has looked good, although he has just admitted that he has been playing with shoulder pain.
