WWE Raw 8/23 Report – Miz attacks Morrison

WWE Champion Bobby Lashley and MVP stepped out to start the show. MVP claimed that Goldberg gave up and that made him a coward. The crowd chanted for Goldberg.



Lashley said he did to Gage what he would have done to anyone who tried to jump on him. Lashley said that anyone who thought Gage or Goldberg owed an apology should go to hell.

Damian Priest interrupted him. Priest challenged him to a match tonight and he was a coward if he didn’t accept. Lashley attacked him, but Priest took him out of the ring. MVP and Lashley agreed, leading to:

Damian Priest defeated Bobby Lashley (with MVP) via DQ when Sheamus ran and attacked Priest.McIntyre comes out to the salve, leading to:

Sarah Schreiber interviewed Doudrop. At that moment, Marie pushed a box of equipment against Doudrop and slammed her head against it.

Karrion Kross defeated Ricochet. Kross now comes out wearing a helmet.



John Morrison’s Moist TV with guest Logan Paul. Paul was booed by fans. The Miz interrupted. He said Morrison forgot to introduce it. He claimed to be Paul’s favorite, but Paul said he was more of a New Day fan.

Miz tells him to get out of his face and Morrison told Miz to stop doing everything about himself. Paul decided to leave while they argued. They kept arguing until Xavier Woods interrupted. This leads to:

Xavier Woods defeated The Miz (with John Morrison). Miz used a rollup but the referee was distracted by Morrison. When the referee turned around, Woods rolled over Miz for the pinfall victory.

Morrison tried to apologize to Miz afterward. Miz acted like he was forgiving Morrison and each of them grabbed dropper sticks to spray the crowd. Miz suddenly attacks Morrison, hits him, and knocks him down with a Skull Crushing Finale.

Reginald was in the park buying ice cream from an ice cream truck. Truth and Akira Tozawa tried to attack him, but he escaped.

Mansoor (with Mustafa Ali) defeated Jinder Mahal (with Veer & Shanky) via DQ. Mahal kicked Mansoor into the corner and didn’t stop on the count of five.

McIntyre was with Priest in the back. Priest thanked McIntyre for helping him tonight. McIntyre was happy that each one hit Sheamus. Priest said that winning the United States title was like living a dream. McIntyre suggested they go out for a few pints, and Priest agreed.

Charlotte Flair comes out and bragged about being a 12-time champion and said no other woman would come close to her legacy. Alexa Bliss interrupted and stood on stage. Bliss congratulated Charlotte and said, “Lilly and I just wanted to say hi.”

There was a new video of Elias. Before his arrival, WWE stood for “World Wrestling Entertainment.” He conquered the entertainment part, but it was time to conquer the wrestling part and become a champion.

Nikki ASH & Rhea Ripley defeated Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler



RK-Bro celebration. Riddle brought him a huge fireworks display and the crowd cheered and chanted “RK-Bro.” Riddle said friendship was important, so he got Orton a gift: his own scooter.

AJ Styles and Omos interrupted. Styles told Omos that Riddle bought Orton a new scooter that he can break. This leads to:
Riddle (with Randy Orton) over AJ Styles (with Omos). Omos attacked Orton, and Orton later punished him with the scooter outside. Styles got distracted and Riddle hits the Bro Dereck for the win.

After the fight Styles gets up and Orton hits him RKO, in order to finish the program.

Next week on Raw: Lashley vs. Sheamus, Eva Marie vs. Doudrop, John Morrison vs. The Miz.
