WWE promotes Triple H to the position of Director of Content

WWE has published an official press release announced the rise of Paul “Triple H” Levesque as Chief Content Officer. The company has highlighted the rise in viewership for the weekly shows since his nomination as chief creative officer and the great service it has done to talent since then.

WWE has indicated that since taking over the creative, Levesque has achieved a 15% increase in viewership for Monday Night Raw and a double-digit increase in social media engagement. As Chief Content Officer, Levesque will oversee creative writing, talent relations, live events, talent development and creative services. The position will report to WWE co-general manager Nick Khan.

“WWE is one of the most prolific premium content producers in the world and I’m looking forward to taking advantage of this incredible opportunity,” said Levesque. “Having spent my entire career in this business, I am confident that we have the right pieces in place to continue to grow our audience and deliver to our fans around the world.”

Also, the company has promoted Frank A. Riddick III to President and Chief Financial Officer. Riddick joined WWE as CFO last year, having served on the company’s Board of Directors for more than 13 years and previously served in the role of interim CFO. During that time, WWE announced annual and quarterly records for revenue and adjusted OIBDA. As president and chief financial officer, Riddick will oversee financial planning and analysis, strategy, controlling, investor relations, tax, data analysis, technology, event travel and facilities. He will report jointly to WWE President and Co-CEO Stephanie McMahon and Co-CEO Nick Khan.

“I have been extremely fortunate to work closely with the talented people of WWE for the past 15 years,” Riddick stated. “Together with Steph, Nick and Paul, we look forward to executing our ambitious plans and delivering for our shareholders.“.

“We are delighted to announce the expansion of Paul and Frank’s roles, which will enhance WWE’s ability to create premium content for our partners around the world and ultimately drive our business,” said Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan.
