WWE changes Veer’s name on Monday Night RAW

During broadcasts of Monday Night RAW via USA Network, the superstar Veer starred in a new preview in which his new name was shown in front of the cameras.

On the way to what will be his future solo comeback within the red mark, Veer was featured in a short promotional video featured on broadcasts from Providence. The fighter was anticipated under the name “Veer Mahaan”, which you are supposed to use from now on. The word “Mahaan” (महान) is generally translated as “the great one”, describing someone important or socially superior.

Veer Mahan was hired by WWE in early 2018. Under his real name Rinku Singh, the fighter received several developmental matchups prior to 2020, when he was placed in a team alongside Saurav Gurjar. The two men from India worked on NXT under the name “Indus Sher”, but an incident involving Gurjar previewing the result of a day of recordings caused both to be displaced from television.

Their separation in 2021 led to Veer to become an ally of the returned Jinder Mahal in RAW. The two men along with Shanky worked together over the summer on the rivalry of “The Modern Day Maharaja” and Drew McIntyre. After the WWE Draft 2021 Mahal and Shanky were sent to SmackDown, leaving Veer alone in the red show.
