Raquel Rodriguez talked about her former teammate, Dakota Kai.

During a large part of their stays in NXT, Raquel Rodriguez (called Gonzáles at the time) and Dakota Kai formed a team that won the brand’s Women’s Tag Team Championship twice. After the duo split for the second time, Raquel was promoted to the SmackDown brand in April of this year, while Dakota was fired for close dates and then rehired less than a month ago. In the present, it has been confirmed that both fighters will meet again this Monday on Monday Night Raw.

After Raquel Rodriguez got her ticket to the final of the tournament for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships indicated that the fact that she meets Dakota Kai does not change anything, since she is now with Aliyah and is excited to make her debut on Monday Night Raw with herwhile being interviewed on The SmackDown LowDown.

I know Dakota very well. [Kai]. We were the first NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions and the first two-time NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions, but that doesn’t change anything. She made her decisions and I made mine. I am so excited to make it to the finals and make my RAW debut with my girl Aliyah by my side.

During the same interview, Aliyah thanked Raquel Rodriguez for her words and assured that with her she trusts that they will win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.

Thanks, Rachel. I know I still have a lot to prove since you haven’t seen what I’m capable of yet, but with Raquel [Rodriguez] By my side, I am confident that we will win these titles in pairs.

This Monday, August 29, Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah will play the final of the tournament to crown the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions against Dakota Kai and IYO SKY on Monday Night Raw.
