Vince McMahon vetoed the promotion of an NXT fighter

The top leader of WWE, Vince McMahon, vetoed the entry of a fighter on the main roster of the company. This fighter appeared once in the blue mark of SmackDown but he has not been seen anymore.

Vince McMahon canceled the rise of a wrestler to the main cast

Last November, NXT fighter Von Wagner made an appearance on a SmackDown show as part of Adam Pearce’s security team. However, he only appeared on one show and was returned to NXT.

A fleeting passage through the main roster

At the time, Wagner was teaming up with another of the NXT sensations, Kyle O’Reilly. However, Vince McMahon felt that Adam Pierce needed a bodyguard.

According to the Ringside News portal, there is a reason for Wagner’s brief period on the main roster screen. According to the portal, McMahon simply did not like the fighter. So I did not hesitate for a second to veto his entry to the roster and discard his role alongside Pearce.

Thereafter, Wagner played a villain role attacking Kyle O’Reilly after the NXT Warrior Games event. In this way, the fighter left after the end of his contract with WWE and NXT.
