Triple H evolves favorably after being diagnosed with COVID-19

Last Monday, Mike Johnson of PWInsider reported that the chief of the content office Triple H (Paul Levesque) could not appear in the Monday Night Raw locker room for testing positive for COVID. The test was carried out the same afternoon of the show and the General Director of WWE was forced to remain at rest.

Dave Meltzer, a journalist for Wrestling Observer, has published an update on Triple H in the last few hours, indicating his good health. “Paul Levesque missed Raw and NXT this week after testing positive for COVID. Word is he’s fine. With his heart issues, a bad COVID strain could be devastating, but he was in contact with everyone on Raw so it seems like he’s fine“.

Triple H had to comply with the COVID protocol that he manages WWE since the global pandemic. The worker managed to contact writers and producers before Monday Night Raw, ensuring that the show continued its regular course. It was the first instance without Triple H since his rise as head of the creative team. His situation for the next shows of SmackDown in Toledo and RAW in Charlotte will depend on a new examination in future days.

Triple H’s health status set off several alarms within WWE. In the last year, the WWE Hall of Fame member was treated for a heart condition which caused his absence for several months. Despite having returned to the company, the current director of the creative team was forced to confirm at WrestleMania 38 his immediate retirement from any activity between the ropes.
