They report backstage altercation between CM Punk and the Young Bucks

An altercation broke out between The Young Bucks and CM Punk following Punk’s comments at the AEW All Out media scrum early Monday morning.

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez reported that multiple sources said there was “an altercation” between the two parties after Punk made comments about Adam Page and the “EVP’s” during the scrum.

Punk first addressed the speculation surrounding himself and Colt Cabana, who was moved to Ring of Honor following Khan’s purchase of the company earlier this year.

He eventually made negative comments about Hangman Page for his promo before their match at Double or Nothing earlier this year, and accused the “EVPs” of “spreading lies and nonsense” to the media.

A security guard was seen running out of the scrum shortly after Punk left. Tony Khan was not informed of the situation until the scrum was over and, at 1:41am Central Time on Monday, everyone was still in the building. Dave Meltzer described the situation as “an uproar.”

Punk mentioned the company’s EVPs while talking about Colt Cabana. “Now, it’s 2022. I haven’t been friends with this guy (Cabana) since at least 2014, late 2013.”

“The fact that I have to sit here because we have irresponsible people who call themselves EVPs and they can’t run a Target and they spread lies and nonsense and put in the media that I had someone fired when I have f*cking everything to do with him, I don’t want to have anything to do with him, I don’t care where he works, where he doesn’t work, where he eats, where he sleeps.

“And the fact that I have to get up here and do this in 2022 is f*cking embarrassing. And if everyone is to blame, then f#ck them. If you don’t have it, I apologize,” Punk said.
