WWE Royal Rumble is practically around the corner and there are some returns already announced. Although the night before a report came to light about the return of another WWE legend as The Undertaker for next Sunday.
The Undertaker would be arriving for WWE Royal Rumble
According to a report from the PW Insider portal, The Undertaker would be going to the pay-per-view WWE Royal Rumble held in St. Louis, Missouri. Said appearance would simply be to accompany his wife and female legend Michelle McCool for her participation in the Women’s Royal Rumble.
However, there is also the possibility that Undertaker could be recording content for either WWE Network or Peacock due to the company being filming content that weekend.
“PWInsider.com has confirmed that The Undertaker will attend the 2022 Royal Rumble in St. Louis next week. While obviously anything is possible. He will most likely attend the pay-per-view because his wife, Michelle McCool, will be competing in the Women’s Royal Rumble match and not because he is appearing as a wrestler. It is also possible that the Undertaker will be incorporated to film material for WWE Network or Peacock, since the company will be recording content that weekend.
The future member of the WWE Hall of Fame has already been retired since 2020. In that year, Mark Calaway made his departure from the ring official on his 30th anniversary of the debut he made in WWE Survivor Series 1990. For now, we can only wait for WWE Royal Rumble itself to make sure if he will be alone as a companion behind the scenes or if he could have another kind of special appearance during the night.
