At recent program of smackdown it was confirmed that Big E will be part of the blue brand, in the show the former WWE champion teamed up with his old partner from The New Day, Kofi Kingston to face Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss, Big E was victorious in the match after applying a Big Ending to Moss.
Big E had been part of the Monday Night Raw program, because he exchanged the Money in the Bank briefcase against Bobby Lashley to win the WWE Championship on the September 13, 2021 show, after which he was transferred to the red brand being the second fighter chosen in the WWE Draft. He had a reign of 110 days before losing his title to Brock Lesnar at the event WWE Day 1 in a fight Fatal-5-Way.
The former WWE champion announced in early January that he will be part of the Men’s Royal Rumble 2022, where he will try to win the battle in order to recover the WWE Championship. Here is the list of confirmed participants for that event.
