During broadcasts of SummerSlam 2021 via WWE Network and Peacock, the team RK-Bro (Riddle and Randy Orton) won the RAW Tag Team Championships after defeating AJ Styles and Omos in a tag team match.
This was the first match of the most important pay-per-view of the summer in WWE. Riddle and Orton were dominant until Omos came on stage. “The Viper” managed to take over in time while “The Original BRO” stopped the giant and managed to evade a Phenomenal Forearm to apply his RKO on Styles and get the victory on account of three.
In this way, RK-Bro win RAW Tag Team Championships, being Riddle’s first team reign and Randy Orton’s third. Recall that both superstars obtained the titles 133 days ago on the first day of WrestleMania 37. Styles and Omos defeated The New Day on the night of April 10 to obtain the tag team titles for the first time in their careers. “The Phenomenal One” thus became triple crown and Grand Slam champion.
RK-Bro returned triumphant on Monday Night RAW
After several weeks of tensions and misunderstandings, Randy Orton and Riddle finally managed to reform RK-Bro with a common enemy. This week on RAW, “The King of BROs” came to the rescue of “The Viper” when the latter faced Omos in a match that ended by disqualification. Orton and Riddle promised that they would leave Las Vegas with the tag team titles that AJ Styles and his partner earned at WrestleMania 37.
